About
This break is the most common as it covers a wide spectrum of activities, which incorporates both training and wellness in equal amounts. A key feature of this retreat is making people more mindful and providing the tools to lower stress and anxiety in everyday life when they return home.
This break is directed at people who like to exercise and are looking for a getaway where they can learn a lot about themselves, become fitter, more mindful and want to pick up lots of tips on how to improve their everyday lives and to change deep formed habits that they have not been able to break.
These breaks are very personal and structured to each person’s fitness levels and needs. Ross Minter wants every person that comes on these trips to have the best time possible. He wants to take people away to experience a totally healthy and fulfilling trip, where they don’t have to think about anything and they’re totally looked after.
Ross hopes that people will return home with a well trained, well rested and fully charged body and soul, so they can set about replacing any negativity in their life with positivity, using the valuable lessons learned on the retreat.
Training and wellbeing are paramount on all of the Minter warm weather training breaks. The mind controls everything that you do, so getting this set right and moving forward with a fit body and healthy mind will be the way forward. Bettering lives is what these escapes are all about.
Time
On this retreat you will have plenty of time to relax, as your free time is your own on these trips. Some people want to hang with Ross and other retreat goers, some sunbathe by the pool or on the beach, others relax or work on their laptops at the accommodation. Whatever you choose to do, you will feel like you’ve earned that chill out time, with the structured exercise, games, fresh air and mindfulness challenges throughout each day.
Food
You will get to appreciate some amazing food throughout the day. You will get tips on nutrition, how to eat and what to eat, which will help with energy levels, weight loss, plus a healthier mind and body. Most people take these tips and incorporate them into their lives. People have given wonderful feedback, showing that they have changed the contents of their cupboards and fridges when they return home and feel amazing with the changes they have made. We have a personal Chef that cooks delicious food and caters to any special or dietary requirements.
Wellness
Every form of training is important and contributes to each individual’s wellness. Incorporating breathing exercises, daily meditation, and mindful activities helps to focus the mind and promote positive outcomes. During this journey, you will flood your body with an abundance of beneficial stimulation, leaving you feeling transformed and noticing positive changes within yourself.
Training
During certain sessions, you will be gently encouraged to step outside your comfort zone. This is because achieving results requires learning how to apply the necessary effort. That said, everyone is unique, with different goals, needs, and fitness levels, all of which are carefully considered in each planning session. The aim is to demonstrate what you can do with the right mindset. Participants of this retreat have consistently been amazed by their achievements, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive
So, take this opportunity to broaden your horizons and better yourself on one of the ‘Minter Warm weather breaks’ now. Get in touch now to book your trip. Ross looks forward to chatting with you.

I heard about Minters warm winter weather retreats through a few friends and the founder himself Ross Minter after training with him at my local gym.
I wanted to attend the camp as I’d hit a bit of a cross roads and knew it would be a re-set for my fitness goals. So I signed up to the Training and Wellness Retreat which was ideal to Get me back to enjoying my training again
I honestly enjoyed every day but I would have to say the mountain run and hill sprits were probably my highlight. The early morning sea swim and mindfulness were great. Each activity was brilliant.
It was brilliant to be trained and spend some time with Ross and former English Boxing champion and son of the Great Alan minter. His knowledge on fitness is up there with the best.
The Trip definitely lived up to the expectation. It was a great laugh from start to finish. The group I went with all had the same mindset and everyone committed to the training 100 percent.
The apartment facilities were very comfortable clean and had everything you would need. The pool was an added bonus. But in reality, after the numerous training sessions and activities of the day you were ready to sleep and didn’t spend a great deal of time there.
The food was fantastic. Kubas restuarant catered for all your healthy needs. Each meal was specifically tailored to our nutrition needs. I never felt hungry due to being fueled correctly.
I personally loved the amount of training sessions – sometimes reaching up to 4 a day. I went there to train and get fit and that was certainly achieved. Ross structured every session and activity, so you never felt tired, using different muscle groups or endurance exercises.
The hardest part of the trip would probably be the sparring as I’m a relative novice but I never felt out of my comfort zone at any point and the environment was always fun and safe.
The rest and recovery on the retreat was perfect. I came away feeling refreshed and fitter than before. Training in the hot climate was so lovely to.
The variety of training was one of the main reasons I signed up. No single day was the same. We even played some paddled tennis which we all enjoyed.
I came away feeling fitter, stronger and I managed to loose nearly half a stone from my belly having cut out all proceed foods and sugary drinks. My clarity was clearer and I was able to build on what I had learned and take this into my day to day life especially with diet choices.
I would absolutely do a camp again and have plans to attend another one this year.
I would highly recommend the experience to any one on the fence about going. You’ll have fun, get fit and learn a lot about your lifestyle choices you’re making at home.
I would just like to say thanks you to Ross for a 5 star camp experience. Brilliant time.

I have a very hectic life, running a business, 4 children and 2 dogs. I wanted to escape on a ‘ladies training and wellbeing retreat” to feel refreshed and to put myself first for a change
We stayed in an apartment around pool, with 3 rooms and I had my own room. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a kitchen and two bathrooms and had an outside area to enjoy meals. We were very close to amenities and a lovely walk to the beach.
Sometimes we would go and do a food shop at the supermarket and Ross would make meals and breakfast for us. Every mourning he would bring us water with fresh lemons squeezed in it and we had figs and nuts to help our self to when we wanted.
We would sometimes have smoothies and meals in the restaurant above the gym we trained in. The food was awesome there.
Ross made The training sessions fun and we were told what time each one was to allow for relaxing and food in between.
We played some Team games, did some Meditation and some Technical boxing and cardio. Every session was good fun.
He always asked for our feedback and took everything we said on Board and was flexible to our needs.
Ross is very good at bringing you back to the present and making you take in your surroundings. It makes moments very special. Ross would always think about what we might need and bring us little healthy snacks when we were chilling round the pool. We all felt very looked after.
There was always time for rest and relaxation and time to soak up the sun.
I loved getting up super early to see the sunrise whilst swimming in the Sea. It was a beautiful experience.
The whole experience refreshed me greatly.
I would definitely like to do it again one day and I would tell anyone to go and take some
Time for themselves and I would say that Ross would look after them immensely!

I heard about the trip from Ross while at a gym we train at.
I wanted to go on a ‘training and wellbeing retreat’ to get away from home but keep my training up and make new friends, which I did.
The apartment we stayed at had everything we needed, plus a nice pool, but we weren’t there much, as we were out training.
For the food we all went shopping together and had a meal plan for the week we also ate out which was at a lovely restaurant with all fresh ingredients.
The training sessions were all well planned.
Myself and the other 3 girls on this trip had very different fitness levels, but everyone was trained to their levels and we were all pushed and happy.
The best parts for me were the boxing sessions. I love hitting Ross, and we did a sunrise swim in the sea, which was amazing
This was my 1st time on a camp, and I would definitely go again.
Ross was a brilliant coach, and we had lots of fun
We had plenty of time to relax at the pool and have a walk around the town
I think as this was the 1st female camp, Ross coped very well.
There was plenty of variety in the training we played racket ball went running did some boxing and weights sessions
I would definitely love to to again. I would strongly recommend going on a camp with Ross weather your just starting out or a professional athlete.

I went on a ladies’ Minter Warm weather training and wellbeing retreat after hearing about it in a gym I was training in.
I’ve been on lots of training camps over the years in lots of different countries and Minter’s camp was definitely one of my favorites.
Ross looked after us on the trip from meeting at Gatwick, feeding us all and walking around showing us the sites.
I felt safe and happy to relax and let someone else run things.
There were Lots of different training routines and Ross catered for the whole group and our different abilities. I loved the training sessions.
I just liked it all. Really nice people, good fun, the weather was lovely
The hardest part was running up the large hill.
But It worked as I lost a bit of weight and returned home fitter with a lot of things that I added to my life.
The apartment was nice, Ross was a good chef, and the restaurant by the gym was very nice as well.
We had plenty of time for sunbathing, looking around, walking on the beach, swimming and playing paddle tennis.
The experience was great and I’d definitely go again.
If you get the chance to go, you should to, it’s fun.

I Wasn’t in a good space in my life and my friend recommended i look at going on a minter warm weather break.
I’m so pleased I did, as I haven’t felt good about myself for a long time now and these trips have really helped me become a better person and look at myself differently.
I’ve Been 3 times now. I’ve been on a training and wellbeing retreat, a train like a pro camp (where I was getting ready for a white-collar boxing match) and a corporate team building get away for some of my staff to. I really wanted to show them what I experienced and help make their lives better to. It worked.
To be honest as an overweight guy, I was worried about training 3 – 4 times a day, But Ross was very good with pushing me to my fitness level, so I could continue in all sessions and not burn out. There is so much variety in the sessions and Ross makes sure there is enough rest in between to, which really helps.
This is my 3rd break. When I went on my 1st trip I was very nervous!. I didn’t think I would cope, as I was so overweight and unfit, but Ross has a great way of setting a programme for me which makes it enjoyable whilst being pushed at the same time.
So if anyone is reading this and is over weight and unfit don’t be put off, as this is one of the best things I have ever done.
Ross makes you feel very welcome, and just I nice fella. Not judgmental what so ever. Makes you feel very comfortable on the breaks the experience more than lived up to my expectations, though I must say I was worn out when I got back, but after a couple of days, I felt really good and missed exercising, so I started back with a routine with what Ross had taught me, with adding the motivation, training methods and food/eating habits to.
I Would 100% do it again and am planning a trip soon and I Would say, if you’re looking to go on one of these trips and you’re unsure due to weight and your fitness levels. Do not let it put you off, as I believe it would be the best thing you would ever do, to kick start you into enjoying exercise and living a healthier and better life.
Just 1 more thing I own a company, and I took some lads who work for me out on a corporate team building get away.
This trip really helped, especially 1 lad in particular with his mental health and fitness journey. He has now lost 3 stone within 3 months of being back and Is really feeling on top of the world thanks to Ross and his breaks 🙏
Thomas Attrell 39 years, Double glazer

I heard about these breaks Through my cousin who had been on one previously.
I wanted to do something to kick-start my training get fit and feel healthy.
I went on a training and wellbeing retreat and absolutely enjoyed every part of it.
We stayed in an apartment, which was fit for purpose, spacious and comfortable.
The food was very nice. Unbelievably healthy too, but filling.
The training sessions were hard work and what I expected, but were really great fun too.
I Enjoyed all parts of the training and did a lot more cardio than I normally do, but it was good. things like the bike ride on the coastal path and the morning sea dip were both great. I didn’t think I was going to enjoy the swim, as I’m not great in water, but embraced it and got a lot from it. It’s very hard to pick a favourite part.
Ross was Very good, he went out of his way to make sure we had what we wanted and needed.
This trip went Above and beyond my expectations it was a Great mixture of training, rest and fun, so it never got boring and it has massively Helped me to carry on training now, far more than I have ever done before, so my health is far better since returning.
I would definitely go again and For anyone who is thinking about doing one of these, I would say, go take this opportunity you will not look back.
