About
This Camp is for people who want to be pushed to get fitter, stronger, and go that extra mile to win and be the best, like all aspiring athletes do. This does not mean that people on this camp have to be extremely fit and at the top of their sport or of a young age. It just means that they want to experience the regime of and how a pro athlete trains and be pushed outside of their comfort zone and improve their mental strength too.
In this training camp people are made to feel like and are treated like a professional athlete. They will be totally looked after with their welfare, fitness, strength and recovery at the forefront of Ross’ and any other trainer’s minds.
Ross wants every person that comes on these trips to have the best time possible. He wants to take people away to experience a totally healthy and fulfilling trip, where they don’t have to think about anything and they’re looked after. On this trip they will learn valuable lessons about health, training, fitness and recovery to take home with them and better their sporting lives.
Time
On this retreat you will still have time to relax. The harder you train, the more recovery you need, so this will not be overlooked. Your free time is your own on these trips. Some people want to hang with Ross and other retreat goers, some sunbathe by the pool or on the beach, others relax or work on their laptops at the accommodation, or go to sleep. Whatever you choose to do, you will feel like you’ve earned that chill out time, as a result of all the added exercise, games, fresh air and challenges throughout each day.
Food
On this trip you will get to appreciate delicious food throughout the day. You will get tips on nutrition, how to eat and what to eat, which will help with energy levels, weight loss/muscle gain and a healthier mind and body.
Exercise
You may have up to 4 guided training/recovery sessions throughout each day such as running, cycling, boxing, swimming, circuits, strength training, or one of the many other structured activities planned. These activities are designed to be challenging, but achievable, so that no one feels as though they can’t make the next session. Everyone has a different fitness level, so are not expected to keep up and do the same as others on the camp. They are pushed to their level and this is monitored very closely, as nobody is pushed to beyond capacity.
These camps have a lot of boxing fitness and some fun technical drills too, so people can get the most out of pushing their training to the highest level possible. These camps have been very popular and everyone that has been on this trip has given glowing reviews.
So take this opportunity to get into amazing shape and a bullet proof mindset and book onto one of the ‘Minter Warm weather pro training camp’ now. Get in touch to book your trip.

I heard about these breaks Through my cousin who had been on one previously.
I wanted to do something to kick-start my training get fit and feel healthy.
I went on a training and wellbeing retreat and absolutely enjoyed every part of it.
We stayed in an apartment, which was fit for purpose, spacious and comfortable.
The food was very nice. Unbelievably healthy too, but filling.
The training sessions were hard work and what I expected, but were really great fun too.
I Enjoyed all parts of the training and did a lot more cardio than I normally do, but it was good. things like the bike ride on the coastal path and the morning sea dip were both great. I didn’t think I was going to enjoy the swim, as I’m not great in water, but embraced it and got a lot from it. It’s very hard to pick a favourite part.
Ross was Very good, he went out of his way to make sure we had what we wanted and needed.
This trip went Above and beyond my expectations it was a Great mixture of training, rest and fun, so it never got boring and it has massively Helped me to carry on training now, far more than I have ever done before, so my health is far better since returning.
I would definitely go again and For anyone who is thinking about doing one of these, I would say, go take this opportunity you will not look back.

I heard about these trips while chatting with Ross a few years back when I was helping to get him back from an injury.
As a professional Fitness and rehabilitation Coach I have attended many training camps with numerous professional athletes and football teams, including with Ross in his professional boxing career to.
I have a busy life and wanted to go on a break to get away for a bit, spend some time on my own and concentrate on my own growth for a change and be in the knowledge that I would be in very caring professional hands with Ross.
I have been to 2 breaks, a ‘train like a Pro camp’ and a ‘back to fitness retreat’ (which I helped out with on training and rehabilitation of the clients on this trip) and both of these lived up to my expectations.
There was a huge amount of variety with training, mental growth, physical work and also fun.
We stayed at The Barcelo resort. The food, was buffet style and had plenty of healthy options along with food for energy too. It was very clean and fresh. The hotel itself was fantastic with great facilities perfect for a fitness retreat, the Food options were excellent
Ross put in good structure to his training not repeating the same sessions each time therefore using different energy groups and muscles in a different way, which I look at as a trainer myself.
There was organized recovery sessions to enable us to carry on and be ready for the next session and also every activity was met with huge enthusiasm by Ross, which is very contagious.
Ross has such a caring nature and wants people to do so well, along with his experience, it’s a pleasure to be around him.
I returned home pretty tired but the following week, but could see the benefits. And carried on some of the things I learnt when home.
I would definitely do it again and would encourage other people to go.
If you can make the time, you should try and spend time with Ross. He is a very caring contagious professional man and always gets the best out of people. The environment he creates is very safe and always uplifting.

I was a supporter of Ross when he was a pro boxer and he has trained me for years.
After seeing all the footage from training camps on Fb, I had to give this a go and I am now so glad I discovered these trips as they have helped me in business and life. I can’t wait for the next one.
I’ve stayed in apartments and Hotels on different trips and they have been in great locations for everything, with Comfortable beds too.
The food was fantastic it is the best nutrition I’ve ever had.
The training is tough but it’s structured so we can complete every session, by the end of the camp you know you’ve been pushed and worked hard, but you feel ready to keep it all going and incorporate the things into your training when home.
The best thing for me is training and being treated like a professional Learning the art of boxing and training alongside world-champion boxers in the gym is amazing.
I’ve now been on around 6 train-like a pro camps and 3 training and wellbeing retreats and I use them for my general wellbeing and mental health.
Ross is a top class host, he trains you hard if you want it, but holds you back when he knows you have to make the next session, so the duty of care is his no. 1 priority. I have learned so much from him.
There are lots of intervals to recharge and reset early night early starts.
The breaks always Far exceed any expectations.
I’ve trained with lots of different walks of life on these breaks out in Fuerteventura and Ross sets up the sessions really well for every level of fitness pros to novice, keep fitters to first-time gym goes the minter training covers all.
I always come back mentally and physically better than I went out, but my body knows that it’s been worked hard.
I would say to anyone. Take the opportunity it could change your life.
I personally have found these camps to really support my mental and physical well-being.
Change my life habits for the better and the way I eat and train.
I felt so happy and in a fantastic place I also proposed to my ‘now wife’ after we both went on a training and wellness retreat together where we really blossomed as a couple, to push me into taking the next step.
Thank you Ross

I heard about the minter warm weather training breaks Through boxers at my club.
I have been on 5 train-like pro camps to get me ready for upcoming boxing fights.
I loved everything about the breaks.
They are made to bring out the best version of you, they are tough but nothing worth doing is easy but you get so much encouragement and help it’s incredible.
The breaks are individually tailored.
I always wanted to work more but Ross reminded me that rest and recovery is all body management and are as important as the training, so the balance was just right and I must say, these have been the best trips of my life.
The variety in the training is great, with swimming, cycling, running beach workouts and gym workouts.
Depending on what you are there for!! You get out what you put in!!
I was coached and closely watched so I got the right amount of sleep, hydration, rest and nutrition, so I was on the top of my game.
The food for me has always been tough as the camps I have been on have been leading up to fights so i’ve been cutting weight. Ross has lived his life eating well so we had really fresh food, prepared and cooked by Ross, or the Chefe from Kuba’s restaurant, to allow me the nutrients, protein and energy I needed to be able to sustain the workouts and get the best out of every session I never once felt like I had no energy always felt sharp and switched on. I love food so for me this was always a fear, but it was so easy when I was getting exactly what I needed, given to me without having to plan or think for myself..
I always made weight losing nearly a stone in weight on a camp 💪🏻
The personal satisfaction and change I felt and saw in myself and the amount I laughed at and felt part of a family while on a camp was brilliant.
Also, I never lost a fight after going on a train like a pro training camp
I found the apartments really clean, comfortable and close to all amenities including a pool which is well-needed after a work out or downtime. It’s a really relaxed town perfect if you don’t want any distractions whether you’re in camp for a fight or competition like I was, or just as good if you want to relax soak up the sun and work on relaxation.
If someone is thinking about going, Book it asap, you will never regret it!!! You will become a much better version of yourself

I have known Ross Minter for 14+ years and aware of his reputation as a good trainer with many years of knowledge and experience. He made me aware of the trips and I have been on four of them since he started.
I want to be healthy, sleep and eat well and generally get fit and lose some extras lbs/kgs, so these trips are ideal.
I have enjoyed every camp and really miss the full on training and just concentrating on bettering myself after returning home!
I consider Ross as one of my best friends and I enjoy his company and the training we do together.
On the different breaks I have been on, we have stayed in the Barceló hotel and also apartments. I personally prefer to stay in the Hotel. You pay a bit more, but it is more of a luxury to return to after training.
I really enjoy the variation of the training we have done, but would still personally like to do more in the boxing activities, because it is fun and pushes me to the next level.
Ross juggles the training really well with each person. I have been sharing breaks with a lot younger and fitter people, but we all get pushed to our own levels.
The lunch time food at the restaurant under the gym is very good.
The local restaurants we have tried have also been very good to.
My favorite parts of these trips are the Boxing, Gym workout, Spa, Running, Padel, Yoga, Mindfullness session (don’t mind the swimming or cycling but not my best activities)
I would love to go on every trip, but life gets in the way, but i definitely make sure I schedule in at least one trip a year.
I am constantly talking about the training trips to as many people who will listen to me.
A lot of people say they want to do go, but they never commit for whatever reason which drives me mad as I’d like them to experience these breaks.

I Wasn’t in a good space in my life and my friend recommended i look at going on a minter warm weather break.
I’m so pleased I did, as I haven’t felt good about myself for a long time now and these trips have really helped me become a better person and look at myself differently.
I’ve Been 3 times now. I’ve been on a training and wellbeing retreat, a train like a pro camp (where I was getting ready for a white-collar boxing match) and a corporate team building get away for some of my staff to. I really wanted to show them what I experienced and help make their lives better to. It worked.
To be honest as an overweight guy, I was worried about training 3 – 4 times a day, But Ross was very good with pushing me to my fitness level, so I could continue in all sessions and not burn out. There is so much variety in the sessions and Ross makes sure there is enough rest in between to, which really helps.
This is my 3rd break. When I went on my 1st trip I was very nervous!. I didn’t think I would cope, as I was so overweight and unfit, but Ross has a great way of setting a programme for me which makes it enjoyable whilst being pushed at the same time.
So if anyone is reading this and is over weight and unfit don’t be put off, as this is one of the best things I have ever done.
Ross makes you feel very welcome, and just I nice fella. Not judgmental what so ever. Makes you feel very comfortable on the breaks the experience more than lived up to my expectations, though I must say I was worn out when I got back, but after a couple of days, I felt really good and missed exercising, so I started back with a routine with what Ross had taught me, with adding the motivation, training methods and food/eating habits to.
I Would 100% do it again and am planning a trip soon and I Would say, if you’re looking to go on one of these trips and you’re unsure due to weight and your fitness levels. Do not let it put you off, as I believe it would be the best thing you would ever do, to kick start you into enjoying exercise and living a healthier and better life.
Just 1 more thing I own a company, and I took some lads who work for me out on a corporate team building get away.
This trip really helped, especially 1 lad in particular with his mental health and fitness journey. He has now lost 3 stone within 3 months of being back and Is really feeling on top of the world thanks to Ross and his breaks 🙏
